This industrial locomotive, numbered "00081" with other markings blanked out, was in use by the Koppers Industries tie plant near Galesburg, Illinois in August 1975. At the suggestion of Rob Peters, I believe this locomotive is a variant of the General Electric 45-ton model. It had two 150-horsepower Cummins engines (note the two exhaust stacks) generating power for two traction motors, one on each truck. The siderods carried the power to the unpowered axles.
