The Baltimore & Ohio's class EM-1 2-8-8-4 was on display at the 1949 fair, back-to-back with the railroad's streamlined Cincinnatian Pacific type. Roderick Arthur O'Connor got almost the entire locomotive into this transparency, but due to fading we converted the color slide to black-and-white. With advancing dieselization of the B&O, No. 7603 was later renumbered to 653 before retirement by the end of the 1950s.
