In 1929 the Reading's shops erected 2-10-2 No. 3010 from class N-1sa 2-8-8-2 Mallet No. 1810, delivered by Baldwin in 1917, with specifications the same as those given for No. 3009 on the preceding page. However, this locomotive originally featured Caprotti poppet valves, as seen this view posted by Bud Laws in the Railfan.net ABPR Archives, and was assigned to class K-1sc.They were replaced by Walschearts gear in 1942 as shown in this Reading shop photo.
