In 1930 Lima Locomotive Works delivered 25 2-8-4s of class BK-63 to the Missouri Pacific, similar in dimensions (though not appearance) to the pioneering Berkshires the builder had erected for the Boston & Albany. No. 1902 of the class appears here at an unspecified location in a photo acquired via eBay, date and photographer also not provided. These engines served until the early 1940s, when the MoPac's Sedalia Shops rebuilt them into 4-8-4s with 75-inch drivers; to compare the rebuiilt version of No. 1902 see the page for No. 2102 following. The original specifications of the BK-63 class are given in the commentary for No. 1921.
