Members of the K-6b class, the LV's newest Pacifics, came from several builders in 1924. They had 77-inch drivers, cylinder dimensions of 25x28 inches, and a boiler pressure of 215 p.s.i. They weighed 291,000 pounds and developed 41,534 pounds of tractive effort. Grate area was just over 75 square feet, evaporative heating surface 3285 square feet, and superheater surface 945 square feet. By 1951 all members of the class had been retired.
