Canadian National 4-8-4 No. 6237 appears at Windsor, Ontario, in a transparency attributed to Walter Taylor, date unknown. The U-2 class had 84 square feet of grate area, 4220 square feet of evaporative heating surface, and 1760 square feet of superheater surface. The image comes to our Random Steam Collection through the good offices of Tom Rock of Rock on Trains. Six locomotives of the U-2 class are extant, but no members of the U-2-h group have been preserved.
