Another representative of the Canadian National's S-1-f class of Mikados is No. 3457, shown switching at Merriton, Ontario on June 6, 1951. This engine was the former Grand Trunk No. 552, erected in 1913 by Montreal Locomotive Works. The unattributed transparency comes to our Random Steam Collection from Tom Rock of Rock on Trains, Cleveland, Tennessee. No. 3457 lasted on the CNR roster until 1961.
