Baltimore & Ohio 4-6-2 No. 5305, the former President Jackson, was rebuilt to class P-7c in 1944 along with three sisters. Their boilers were remounted on solid-steel engine beds with integrally cast cylinders (see the following page for No. 5314 of class P-7e). Members of the P-7c group had 3643 square feet of evaporative heating surface and weighed 333,500 pounds, but most other dimensions differed little from those of the general P-7 class as specified for No. 5304 previous. This image of No. 5305 came via Edward Lorence, but no data regarding date, location, or photographer is forthcoming.
