Pennsylvania Railroad class K-4s Pacific No. 7133 poses at Atlantic City, New Jersey on May 16, 1954, in a view from the collection of Carl Weber. The locomotive, in service in one of the last steam passenger assignments on the PRR (and Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines), displays most of the modernization features described for No. 3674. Notably absent, however, is the solid steel pilot, as this example retains the original slatted pilot — further evidence that, despite the PRR's penchant for standardization, the K-4 class came to exhibit a good deal of variation during the years when it reigned as the PRR's ubiquitous passenger hauler. The name of the photographer responsible for this image has not come down to us.
